Muddy Mondays - Advanced Handbuilding & Sculptural Forms with Elizabeth Van Antwerp- Ages 18+

Mondays, 6:00–8:00 PM

July 6, 13, 20 & 27

Ready to move beyond the basic mug? This intermediate-level workshop is designed for students who have experience with pinch, coil, and slab construction and are ready to challenge the structural limits of clay.

Over four weeks, students will explore sculptural forms and advanced handbuilding techniques while learning how to combine multiple construction methods into larger, more complex pieces. Topics will include building tall coil forms, using paddles to shape and strengthen walls, incorporating internal and external supports, and understanding moisture management to control the leather-hard stage and prevent warping and cracking.

This workshop is ideal for students looking to expand their creative possibilities while developing stronger technical skills and confidence in clay construction.

Because this is a multi-day workshop with limited seating and guest instruction, we are unable to offer make-up classes for any missed workshop days.

If you are unable to attend, your workshop spot may be reassigned to another person by notifying Moon Struck Pottery and Makers Space before the workshop begins.
